My Why
My journey into bridal makeup began shortly after my own wedding. I’ve always loved wearing makeup, but I’m very particular about how it looks, feels, and wears throughout the day. For my own wedding, I envisioned an elegant, radiant, and natural look — but I struggled to find a makeup artist who shared that vision (or wasn’t already booked years in advance!). That experience lit a spark in me, and my bridal makeup journey began.
Over the years, I’ve refined my style to focus on timeless, elegant, and glowing looks — the kind that has guests whispering “wow” as you walk down the aisle. I’ve since added hairstyling to my skill set, and I love being able to create a bride’s entire beauty vision for her special day.

From our initial consultation to your preview appointment (usually around 8 weeks before the big day), communication is key. I take the time to understand your style, your comfort zone, and your dream bridal look — so when the day comes, you feel confident, beautiful, and completely yourself.
Your wedding morning is more than just a hair and makeup appointment — it’s a core memory in the making. You’ll be surrounded by your closest loved ones, soaking up the excitement of the day ahead. It’s a moment you’ve planned and dreamed about for months — if not years — and it’s an absolute honour to be part of it. Beyond creating your bridal look, I’ll bring calm, warmth, and a sense of ease to your morning, helping you feel truly present and pampered.
A little info about me
Alongside being a makeup artist, I’m a trained secondary school teacher with nearly 18 years of classroom experience, and I now bring that same passion for education to the world of makeup. I specialise in teaching individuals how to confidently apply their own makeup and in educating fellow makeup artists—particularly in creating elegant, flattering looks for brides over 40.
I spent the first seven years of my makeup career living in beautiful Edinburgh, where I had the privilege of working in some of Scotland’s most breathtaking castles, estates, and city venues. Recently, I moved back to Hertfordshire—home for me and my family—and I’m excited to get to know the stunning venues this part of the country has to offer.
I’m also a proud dog mum to Luna, our super-friendly golden retriever, who you might just meet at your preview appointment!
